San Francisco is a great art city and this colorful shot was captured at the 2016 opening of the expansion of its well regarded Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA). This image is particularly interesting with the human figure in it. I took a few others with no human for scale and they just aren’t as striking. I remember seeing another apple core at a museum in Israel, so perhaps there are several in a series. This “Geometric Apple Core” was made in 1991 by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen.

Don’t forget to also check out her Instagram.
