Checking in: Hotel Andromeda Ostend (Belgium)

For work, we went on a “teambuilding” 2-days to Ostend, at the Belgian coast. We stayed at Hotel Andromeda located on the seawall of Ostend. The meeting rooms all had an amazing view of the beach and the sea. There are worse places to have business meetings.

At the reception, you are welcomed by a cute little robot but luckily the persons behind the desk are also very friendly and helpful to get you your room keys.

The rooms are all very beautiful and cozy. A bathrobe is waiting for you together with some chocolate. Although there was no time to put on the bathrobe, there was plenty of time to eat the chocolates.

The bathroom is basic but clean. You can find everything you need: shower gel, shampoo and body cream. There are also plenty of towels available.

There are free coffee and tea available in your room together with a very limited mini-bar: a small bottle of wine and a bag of nuts. However, there are plenty of bars near the hotel and even in the hotel to have a nice drink.

Breakfast was a true feast: different kind of bread and spreads: sweet and savory. Bu also a lot of healthy options: yogurt, muesli, fresh fruit, smoothies. And for those who love a hot breakfast: eggs, bacon, sausages, … This was one of the best breakfasts I have ever seen in a hotel. It was so good, I couldn’t wait to dive in and forgot to take pictures. Oh well, it looks like I will have to go back to take those pictures.
