A techie-turned-blogger whose hands and feet are always itchy to write something new and to travel to some place new; with both of these having same outcomes in the end – her learning something. This lake which resembles South America is approximately 60kms from the the Silicon City Bangalore in India. Makalidurga is one of the offbeat places near Bangalore thats a wonderful option for a day hike. The view from the top is something like this, with a panoramic view of the lake and surroundings. An ancient fort in ruins awaits you once you reach the top. And in no time, you will be submerged in the greenery from which you can’t take your eyes off.
