This week’s photo is from Lara. She is an Aussie girl with a serious need to travel the world!
I grew up in the Hunter Valley around 2 hours north of Sydney. This area itself is well and truly on the tourist path. Her desire to travel started early. Her grandparents often took adventurous trips around the world and soon she wanted to as well. Her first overseas trip took her to the USA. It wasn’t until her first overseas trip without her family when she was 18 that really sparked her desire to travel. She has traveled to over 80 countries and counting. She shares her adventures on Borders and Life.
My photo is one which shows me achieving a lifelong dream of traveling to Antarctica. Being in such a remote area is quite a surreal experience and surpassed every expectation I ever had!
