As mentioned before, meeting up with friends is always having dinner together, because we have to eat, right? 🙂
This time, we ended up in Zaventem, not that far from the airport, at an Italian restaurant: Il Milano di Toto.
Although we were in an Italian restaurant, we didn´t exactly eat Italian food. Next to the fixed menu, they also have some specials of the day. I had a salad of the house with all kinds of different fish and shell fish. So delicious.
The reason why I often take a salad is not only because I love salads and I think the way a restaurant serves salads says a lot about their creativity; but also because that gives me a good excuse to also take a dessert.
When presenting the dessert menu, they also mentioned they also had moelleux au chocolat. And if there is a dessert I really like (after Sabayon of course), it is something with a lot of chocolate like that. The nice thing was, that they took the Moelleux out of the mold at the table. And yes, it is served with some ice cream.
Il Milano di Toto is a restaurant with such a friendly service and delicious fresh food.
I will visit Il Milano di Toto again for sure with my boyfriend this time. Looking at the other tables (am I the only one doing this??), there is so much more to try here.
